1903年、日本で初めて木製リムを発売、更に1915年には、日本初の金属製リムの製造に成功したアラヤは、以来1世紀に及び、
「リムのアラヤ」の地位を確立してまいりました。
この製造設備は、100年にわたる製造技術を結集したアラヤ独自の生産ラインです。

成型ライン / Forming line
This is a series of rim forming line, by which the rims for bicycles and motorcycles are manufactured with by Araya's sophisticated technology of Roll-forming and Seam welding.
In this manufacturing process, coiled steel strip (raw material) is formed into rim by Roll-forming, and Seam welding is carried out to make rims stronger and more stable.
Bending, measuring of the bead circumference, press-cutting are carried out after Roll-forming and Seam welding.
矯正機 (シュリンカー) /  Shrinker (Contracting machine)
In this process, rims are contracted by the pressure from outside toward inside for more accuracy and strength of rims.
Furthermore, unlike Expanders, rims are pressurized from outside, NOT expanded from inside to outside.
Thus, the welded point will never be pulled, and the strength of rims can be maintained.
研磨ライン / Polishing line 
This is the equipment to polish the surface of rims consecutively.
Consisting of units to polish the outside and inside surface of rims respectively, it features the independent box-typed polishing machines.
Total numbers and the arrangement of respective polishing machines can be changed freely as users want, and the capacity for dust collecting is also outstanding.
The combination of these polishing machines and automatic loading device enables the continuous running available.
穴あけ機 / Spoke holes punching machine
This is the equipment to punch spoke and valve holes onto the rims, consisting of 4 spoke holes punching heads, 1 valve hole punching head, and 1 rim chucking unit.
Spoke holes punching heads feature as follows:
1) They are movable, by which users can set punching angle freely. 
2) They can be positioned on the table freely according to the numbers of
spoke holes.
Furthermore, Servo indexing device makes intermittent rotation of rim chucking unit, which enables to punch non-equal pitched spoke holes.
